We have completed the migration to our new provisioning platform. Unfortunately there was a few issues due to the old system not exporting the correct data. If you are still having issues, please first try resetting your cable modem and router. If this does not resolve the issue contact our technical support and we will do everything we can to get you back online quickly. If it is after our normal business hours when you call, please leave a message with technical support and this will page the person on call. They should return your call in a timely manner and assist you in getting back online.
This new system is the final step in becoming DOCSIS 3.0 compliant. While the DOCSIS 3 standard is still in its infancy, it will mean more enhanced services in the future, and greater dependability.
We have also recently completed the upgrade of our backbone to the Internet. This increase in bandwidth will hopefully allow us to upgrade our services and remove the bottlenecks in the system we had been experiencing.
Thank you for all your patience during these upgrades. We know it can be annoying having connectivity issues.

Sumner Communications has been working closely with the City of Wellington to provide Wireless Internet access at the Wellington Lake. This service is now available!
If you are at the lake camping and want to use your laptop/computer to access the internet, just connect to one of the Access Points labeled SC24-LAKE-HS010. Once connected you can choose to register, or gain "instant access" using a Paypal account (not required) or any credit card.
You can purchase blocks of time or choose one of the weekend/weekly/monthly registered account options if you wish. If you have any issue or questions please contact the Internet Support Dept at 620-326-8989.
We will be offering access cards for sale at our offices as well very soon.
We are proud to bring the service to Lake patrons and look forward to expanding the Hotspot service into other parts of our coverage area.
